What we collect
Three things. The answers you give in the assessment. The email address you enter. And basic activity on this site — which pages you opened, which buttons you tapped, the campaign that brought you here, your IP address and browser. We do not ask for your name, your address, your phone number, or any medical record.
What we do with it
We email you about Retaina — when we open, what it costs, what it includes. We use the assessment answers to decide what to build and to show you a relevant result. We use the site activity to understand which pages work. That is the entire list.
Who processes it
Vercel hosts the site. Upstash stores the activity log. Loops stores your email address and assessment answers and sends our email. Stripe handles card details if you reserve a spot. Meta receives advertising events. These are the only companies that touch your information, and each one handles only the part it needs.
What we send to advertising platforms
We send Meta a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of your email address so that a signup can be matched to an ad, plus the fact that a signup happened. We do not send your assessment answers, your result, or anything about your hair to Meta or any other advertising platform.
Card details
If you reserve a founding spot, your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We keep only the customer and setup identifiers Stripe returns, which are what let us cancel or start a membership later. We cannot see your card number.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address or your answers with anyone outside the processors listed above.
Deleting your data
Email hello@retaina.co and ask. We will delete your email address, your assessment answers, and any reservation, and confirm when it is done. You do not have to give a reason.
Cookies
We use a small first-party cookie to remember which version of the homepage you saw, and the Meta pixel sets its own cookies for ad measurement. No advertising network other than Meta runs on this site.
